Iran and Nigeria signed a deal on Monday based on which the two sides will expand cooperation in different fields of the economy.
Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade, Mehdi Ghazanfari and Nigerian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Viola Adaku Onwuliri signed the deal in Tehran, IRNA news agency reported.
Expanding cooperation in the fields of commerce, banking, technology, IT, transit, energy, housing, agriculture, and engineering has been stipulated in the deal.
Trade between the two countries stood at $50 million last year.
