Iran and Ukraine signed an agreement on building railroad network, Iranian Deputy minister of roads and city planning Ahmad Sadeghi said, Official Website of Iranian Cabinet of Ministers reported.
Sadeghi said an agreement was signed for building three railroads (Ardebil - Miyana, Ardebil - Pars Abad, Tabriz - Miyana) and a highway.
He added that partially the construction will be financed by Ukrainian investors.
"According to the plans, Ukrainian representatives should visit Iran to hold discussions with Iran's Ministry of roads and city planning," Sadeghi noted. "Suggestions of the Ukrainian side will be considered, as the sides will talk over the details".
Sadeghi underscored that joint work with Ukraine should begin as soon as possible.
