Former head of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Mohsen Rezaee announced Sunday that he will propose his candidacy for the Iran's presidential elections in 2013, ILNA reported.
Rezaee, who currently serves as the Secretary of the Expediency Council, had already proposed his candidacy at 2009 presidential elections. His rivals were current president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and reformist leaders Mir-Hossein Mousavi and Mehdi Karroubi, who are now kept under house arrest because of protesting results of the elections.
