The P5+1 group has no sincerity towards Iran and is uncooperative, ILNA quoted Iran's Expediency Council Chairman, former president Ayatollah Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani as saying.

On May 23 Iran and the "5+1" group held talks in Baghdad, regarding Islamic Republic's nuclear program.

Before Baghdad, the talks between Iran and the six members of the P5+1 group were held in the Turkish city of Istanbul on April 14. Both sides hailed the discussions as constructive. On June 18-19 another round of talks was held in Moscow.

By the end of the nuclear negotiations, EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton said Iran and six world powers were not able to bridge their different positions on Tehran's nuclear programme.

Rafsanjani expressed regret that the P5+1 group has a limited approach to Iran.

"Their only approach is based on force, to create necessary opportunities for future goals," he said. "We should unite to defend ourselves against foreign enemies, and to prevent them from damaging Iran's national interests".

Rafsanjani admitted that at the current time the Islamic Republic has two major economic problems, which are inflation and expensiveness. Former president said those fatal problems collapsing the economic structure of Iran.

U.S., other Western countries, and Israel suspect Iran of developing nuclear weapons under the guise of peaceful nuclear energy program. Tehran denies the charges, saying its nuclear program is for civilian purposes.
