Iran’s Isfahan Petrochemical Complex shut down

Iran's Isfahan Petrochemical Complex has been closed down due to accumulated debts for buying feedstock, the Mehr news agency reported on Sunday.

The complex has an annual production capacity of 300,000 tons of benzene, toluene, paraxylene, and some other petrochemicals.

Some 363,000 tons of platformate and 3000 of hydrogen were delivered by Isfahan Oil Refinery to Isfahan Petrochemical Complex annually as feedstock.
