Iran's Vice-President for International Affaires Ali Saeedlu and President of Iraqi Kurdistan Masood Barzani on Monday stressed contribution of the Iranian private sector to implementation of development projects in Iraq, IRNA reported.
The two sides in their meeting in Erbil on Monday exchanged views on the latest economic developments in Iran and Iraq.
Heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation, Saeedlu is in Iraq to hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on issues of mutual interest.
While in Baghdad, he will hold separate meetings with Ibrahim al-Jaafari former prime minister of Iraq and Usama al-Nujayfi, Speaker of Council of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the Iranian vice president is in Erbil to attend the first Iran-Erbil economic meeting.
