IRI Foreign Ministry Spokesman called recent joint communiqué of foreign ministers of European Union and Arab League in Cairo 'spiteful and incorrect', adding that ownership of three islands of Abu-Mussa, Greater and Lesser Tunbs is evident and indisputable, IRNA reported.

Ramin Mehmanparast underlined that spiteful and unwise comments have no effect on existing realities, adding that making such unfounded claims and spreading rumors about threatening Hurmoz Strait, which are being presented with special goals in the current situation of the region are against the interests of regional nations and the world economy.

According to the report of Foreign Ministry Media Department on Tuesday, the spokesman said that everybody knows that sowing discord, interference of alien powers, militarism, and launching arms race are among the most important reasons for insecurity and main threat to security and stability in the region.

He said that expressing concern over Iran's peaceful nuclear program is 'unfounded' and 'incorrect', adding that Iran's nuclear activities are completely clear, transparent and peaceful and in the framework of international laws and regulations and International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Mihman-parast underlined that creating such negative atmosphere in the world public opinion aims to impose political pressure and affect the process of negotiations between Iran and Group 5+1.

He stressed that such approaches cannot force Iranian nation to ignore its inalienable rights.
