Roughly a million of illegal Afghans live in Iran

There is roughly a million of Afghans illegally living in Iran now, General director for Foreign immigrants department of country's Interior Ministry, Aziz Kazemi said, Mehr reported.
Kazemi made the remarks during the visit of foreign countries' ambassadors in Iran to the city of Shiraz.
Kazemi noted that the highest concetration of refugees from Afghanistan live in Iran's cities of Qom, Tehran, Shiraz and Kerman.
Speaking of the Afghanis living in Iran legally, he said the number of such is somewhere around 850,000.
He said that soon a special meeting on thw issues with illegal Afghanis in Iran will be held, with Afghan, Iranian and UN officials participating.
