Chinese Ambassador to Iran Yu Hongyang evaluated bilateral ties as satisfactory, saying that there is no problem in this regard. He said that Tehran-Beijing cooperation is at the highest level, IRNA reported.

Addressing a meeting with officials of the provincial economic institutes and businessmen in Sari, he added that President Ahmadinejad and his deputies acknowledge high level and excellent political ties with China.

The ambassador said that the current level of trade and economic cooperation is indicative of development of Iran-China economic ties.

The Chinese ambassador said that despite sanctions, bilateral ties are still in place.

He said that China is ready to invest in the Iranian projects, adding that currently 60 Chinese firms are active in Iran.

Evaluating the province's status in the field of agriculture, fisheries and minerals as remarkable, Hongyang said that directors of the Chinese companies are interested in investment in various fields in Mazandaran province.
