Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said on Sunday that some 700 Iranians jailed abroad were released this year, IRNA reported.
Speaking in a ceremony marking inauguration of the new building of Foreign Ministryˈs department for consular, parliamentary and Iranian expatriates affairs, Salehi said the individuals were freed thanks to efforts of the Foreign Ministryˈs department for consular, parliamentary and Iranian expatriates affairs.
He said his personnel are doing their best to fulfill service.
