The 8th RoboCup IranOpen Competitions will be held in Tehran with the participation of 14 countries, IRINN reported.
The 3-day event will open today at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds.
RoboCup IranOpen 2013 Competitions organized by Iranian RoboCup National Committee and authorized by the International RoboCup Federation.
Last year IranOpen had some 330 teams from China, Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Mexico, The Netherlands, Pakistan, Portugal, Turkey, United Kingdom, and United States attending the competitions.
RoboCup IranOpen is an attempt to further promote AI and Robotics research.
These competitions will provide a chance for all researchers to present and share their experiences and achievements.
The Iranian RoboCup National Committee was officially formed in July 2006. The RoboCup IranOpen 2013 competitions leagues are as follows:
