Iran's city of Kaki in the Bushehr province was hit by another 4,3 magnitude earthquake early this morning, Fars reported.

The quake occured approximately at 6:14 by local time. Thus far there are no reports of possible victims or damages.

Kaki has been the subject of earthquakes in the last several days. A 5,1 magnitude quake hit the city on May 6, and prior to that another 4,0 quake was felt in the same place.

Bushehr's Kaki city was hit by an earthquake on Saturday, May 4, with a 4,0 magnitude earthquake, according to Iran's Seismography Center.

Prior to that, Kaki was hit by another quake on May 2 evening, with a 5,0 magnitude. There were no reports of possible victims or damages.

Iran is one of the most seismically active countries in the world, being crossed by several major fault lines that cover at least 90 percent of the country. As a result, earthquakes in Iran occur often and are destructive.

The Iranian plateau is subject to most types of tectonic activity, including active folding, faulting and volcanic eruptions. It is well known for its long history of disastrous earthquake activity.

Not only have these earthquakes killed thousands, but they have also led to waste of valuable natural resources.
