The first meeting between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and Iranian president Hassan Rouhani may take place during the September summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the source in the Iranian embassy in Moscow told Fars News information agency.
According to the source, the visit of the Russian president to Iran is not currently on the agenda of Iranian government.
The sources in the Iranian government earlier confirmed that, the visit of the Russian president to Tehran firstly was planned for the mid-August, however this information was denied in Kremlin.
