Iranian vice Minister of Roads and Urban Development Davood Keshavarzian and his Turkish counterpart Talat Aideen signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on road transport, IRNA news agency reported on Nov. 28.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed major problems related to road transport between the two countries.
In the MoU, the two sides agreed to coordinate efforts on registration of truck and bus traffic between Iran and Turkey.
They also exchanged views on existing problems in the fields of freight and passenger transport.
