Two of the vessels are light cruisers dubbed Tabarzin and Neyzeh, the Fars News Agency reported.

They are capable of launching medium-range missiles and reaching a speed of 33 knots.

The third one dubbed Sirjan is a logistics support vessel.

Top military officials including army commander Major General Ataollah Salehi and navy commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari attended the ceremony.

The Iranian navy had unveiled a newly-repaired logistical combat frigate and a hovercraft on November 30.
