A man who set himself on fire during Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's visit to the Oil Ministry has died from his injuries, Iran's Fars News Agency reported on Feb. 22.
The 58-year old man was reportedly an employee of the Oil Ministry in the southern regions of the country.
He set himself on fire on Feb. 17 in front of the ministry headquarters in Tehran, after Iranian president entered the building.
He was taken to the local hospital immediately.
Housing problems and the official's ignorance towards his problems has been named as the reasons of the self-immolation incident.
