Iran officially unveiled four new defense technologies.

Two domestically-made cruise missiles dubbed Ghadir and Nasr-e-Basir and two new drones dubbed Mohajer and Karrar-Four are the mentioned military equipments that have been unveiled, Iran's IRNA News Agency reported on August 24.

President Hassan Rouhani and Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan attended the inauguration ceremony.

Ghadir is a long-range missile which can precisely hit targets 300 kilometers away at sea.

The other missile is named Nasr-e-Basir and can operate in silence.

Mohajer drone is capable of carrying out aerial mapping, is considered a highly advanced drone. And Karrar can be used to trace intruding aircraft.

In recent years, Iran has made major breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.

Iran has also conducted several military drills to enhance the defense capabilities of its armed forces and to test modern military tactics and equipment.

The Islamic Republic has frequently announced that its military might poses no threat to other countries, stating that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.
