Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said that all the world nations should unite in fight against extremism and terrorism.

"Iran is ready to offer help to any country planning to fight terrorism," he said.
Rouhani, however, said that Tehran still has no plan to cooperate with the United States on fight against terrorism.

He explained that those who claim to be fighting terror should prove their words by actions.
He went on to say that certain countries just start their fight against terrorism once their interests are in danger.

Iranian president made the remarks in a press conference in Tehran on August 30.
Rouhani went on to note that he has not decided on going to New York for the United Nations General Assembly meeting yet.

Iranian president concluded that his country pursues policy of closer ties with all regional states including Saudi Arabia.
