Multilateral Meeting of Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) chaired by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif was held in New York, IRNA reports.
The meeting was also attended by the foreign ministers of Qatar, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Thailand and a number of other countries’ deputy ministers.
Stressing the need for multilateralism, Zarif hoped that the meeting will lead to boosting cooperation among the member states.
The Asia Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) is an inter-governmental organization created on 18 June 2002 to promote Asian cooperation at a continental level and to help integrate separate regional organizations such as ASEAN, SAARC, the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council, and the Eurasian Economic Union.
