Iran's joining the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) is in line with the country's interests, said spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in his weekly press conference on Monday, IRNA reports.
'Taking into consideration the set of rules and the framework, we will continue the path.'
Regarding the detention of an Iranian diplomat in Belgium, he said that the incident happened because of the enemies' plot.
He said that Tehran has spared no effort regarding the issue and added that Iran and Europe are negotiating so that the innocent diplomat will return home.
