Iran's Minister of Road and Urban Development Mohammad Eslami has indicated that despite pressures, the country's infrastructures are in good position.

"The war on economy is the latest attempt by the enemies of Islamic revolution to devaluate national currency," he said Trend reports citing IRNA.

Speaking at the event devoted to the 40-th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, he noted that during the past four decades, despite war (Iran-Iraq war, 1980-1988) and sanctions, Iran has developed science, technology, agriculture, health, aerospace, nuclear sectors, as well as its defense industry.

The minister said Iran has also improved its road, air and maritime infrastructure, along with railway systems.

"Iran has large population, with talented people and natural resources. No one can resist a country if it reaches success in high-tech," Eslami said.
