Iran can meet Pakistan's needs in oli and take steps necessary for building a gas pipeline, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at a joint press conference with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, Trend reports referring to Islamic Republic of Iran News Network TV channel.
According to Rouhani, Iran is currently exporting electricity to Pakistan. The Iranian president added that Pakistan's Prime Minister was informed that Iran is ready to increase its electricity exports to Pakistan by tenfold.
"The development of trade relations and the establishment of a barter committee between the two countries were discussed. These steps will further facilitate the trade between the two countries," the President said.
Drawing attention to relations between Iran, Pakistan and Turkey, Rouhani said that Iran is interested in developing relations among the three countries in various fields including connecting Turkey's railroad to Pakistan and joining the European Railway to Asia and China.
