The Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission is considering a number of anti-US initiatives, said Hossein Naqavi Hosseini, spokesman for the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Trend reports citing the Tasnim news agency.
He said that these initiatives will be considered by the commission on Sept. 22-23.
Hosseini added that one of them is related to imposing sanctions on some US officials.
He noted that tough steps will be taken against the US.
The US imposed sanctions on Iran in November 2018 and expanded the list of sanctions in several stages.
In its turn, Iran imposed a list of sanctions against the US. In August 2019, Mark Dubovic, CEO of the US Foundation for Defense of Democracies, was added to the list.
