(IRNA) - Iran-Turkmenistan border cooperation was discussed here Monday in a meeting between governors-general of Iran's Razavi Khorasan, Northern Khorasan and Golestan provinces and Turkmen ministers of Interior, national security, prosecutor-general and border guard.
In the meeting, which took place on the sidelines of President Ahmadinejad's visit to Turkmenistan, issues like issuing long time visas for businessmen and investors, facilitating visa issuance for ordinary citizens and border cards for border dwellers of both countries as well as activating border security commission were discussed.
Also the two sides talked about adopting common measures in campaign against drug smuggling and bandits.
