(IranMania) - French President Jacques Chirac said that he held Iran partially responsible for the Israel-Lebanon conflict, in an interview with Le Monde newspaper.
"In the current conflict, Iran is partially responsible. Information we have proves that sophisticated weapons and financing are sent by Iran, via Syria in all probability, to Hezbollah. It's a problem," he said, reports Trend.
However, he underlined that dialogue was possible with Iran and said Tehran had been "fairly cooperative" during elections in Lebanon in June 2005, AFP noted.
