Export of Turkey within first 7 months amounted to $79 billion

Within the first 7 months of 2006, Turkey exported commodities totaling $79 billion. According to the Turkish state minister Kurshad Tuzmen, this amount in the project of 2006 state budget was intended for whole year.

Due to the present growth rate of export, this figure may become $82-84 billion by the end of year, special correspondent of Trend in Ankara reports.

Within the 6 months, Turkey has realized exportation operations into 10 countries of the world. Thus, the export into Germany was $4.6 billion, Italy - $3.4 bln., Great Britain - $3.1 bln., USA - $2.4 bln., France - $2.3 bln., Spain 1.8 bln., Holland $ 1.1 bln., Romania - $1 bln. And Iraq $1.3 bln.
