(Fars News Agency)- Iranian Government Spokesman said that cabinet ministers approved a bill on avoidance of double-taxation and prevention of tax evasion agreement with the Sudanese government.
Speaking to reporters during his weekly press briefing here on Monday, Gholam Hossein Elham added that the bill which pertains to income taxes will next be presented to the parliament for a final approval, reports Trend.
He further elaborated on other cabinet approvals of this week and said that cabinet ministers also ratified a bill so as to facilitate use of finance facilities.
"The approval cuts the lengthy trend of receiving foreign financial resources for the governmental and private sector and removes the ambiguities existing in this regard," Elham said.
He reminded, "To this end, the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance introduced a bill to the last cabinet meeting in a bid to help materialize this strategic policy, i.e. facilitating foreign and domestic investment, removing bureaucratic problems, and inciting the non-governmental sector to make further investments."
The Government Spokesman assured that from this date on, receiving foreign financial resources for financing would be concentrated at the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance via a strongly integrated system.
