(IRNA) - Head of Majlis Foreign Policy and National Security Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi said here Sunday that continued negotiations between Iran and Europe on the country's peaceful nuclear activities indicates that the two sides are satisfied with its results in proportion, reports Trend.

Speaking to IRNA, on the sidelines of Majlis open session on Sunday, he said, "Although the current atmosphere seems heavy and we are on an arduous road, after Iran's comprehensive response to incentive package proposed by the group 5+1, we are now witnessing a change in their attitude."

Although the number of advocates to negotiations have increased, this does not imply that the negotiations would decisively put an end to the issue, he said.

The European have realized that if they break off negotiations they will make no achievement, he said.

Iranian government and Majlis insist on attaining the legitimate rights of Iranian nation, he pointed out.

On extension of US sanction against Iran, he said this is not a new move and all the publicity propaganda campaign are to cover US failures in the region.

Extension of sanctions against Iran reflects US defeats in Iraq and Afghanistan, he concluded.
