(Itar-Tass) - Four people died when a small plane crashed into a high-rise apartment building in New York, police said.
The CIRRUS SR-20 aircraft which flew from a small airport in New Jersey, belonged to Corey Lidle, a New York Yankees pitcher, reports Trend.
Air traffic control representatives said the pilot had tried to send a distress signal shortly before the tragedy.
