(IRNA) - Iran's president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Arrived in Qatari capital Doha to take part in opening ceremonies of the 15th Asian Games.
According to IRNA correspondent in Doha, the President is scheduled to visit Asian games village and residence of Iranian athletes and meet the Iranian sportsmen and authorities, reports Trend.
Ahmadinejad would also take part in the official opening ceremonies which will be held at Khalifa stadium in Doha.
He will talk with Qatari Emir Shaykh Jasem bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani on bilateral relations and regional and global issues of mutual interest.
The president in his one-day visit to Qatar will meet Iranian nationals residing in Qatar.
The official opening ceremonies for the 15th Asian Games will be held Friday afternoon with participation of 13,000 athletes from 45 Asian states and officials of the participant countries.
