Iran, Morocco keen to expand educational cooperation

(IRNA) - The visiting Iranian delegation including members of the Majlis Education Commission in a meeting with their Moroccan counterparts discussed expansion of legal, parliamentary and educational cooperation between the two sides.

According to a report released by the Iranian Embassy in Morocco, during the past two days, the head of Iranian delegation, Shahriyar Moshiri, a member of the Majlis Education Commission, met separately with the head of Iran-Morocco Parliamentary Friendship Group as well as his counterparts in Moroccan Chamber of Representatives and Senate, reports Trend.

Legal and parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, women, exchange of experience and cooperation between the education sector of both sides were on the agenda of the meetings.

For her part, head of the education commission of Morocco's Chamber of Representatives, Nasiba al-Haqavi, referred to the religious and cultural commonalties of the two nations and their close heartfelt bonds as a proper ground for further cooperation in all domains.

She urged Iranian and Moroccan officials to take more important measures to materialize the will and call of the people of both countries.
