(cnet) - Some of you may be sad to see 2006 come to a close. Others, like me, can't wait for this sorry year to end. But no matter what opinion you may hold, one thing is for certain: the past 12 months have ushered in some awesome portable gadgets, reports Trend.
First, there was the uniquely designed iRiver Clix, which is both fun to use and packed with features. And I may not be an iPod fan, but there's no denying that the fifth-generation update to the iPod added some welcome improvements to an already successful device. And who wasn't happy to see Apple bring color back with the second-gen Nano? Then we have the Samsung YP-T9, a sweet-looking player with a pocketable body and sweet sound; the sleek and simple Toshiba Gigabeat S; and the fun and fantastic Creative Zen V Plus. Of course, I also have to give honorable mention to our Best of Show winner from this year's CES: the Creative Zen Vision:M
