Colorful Sony Vaio Type C laptops for "young people"

(mobilemag) - Tired of seeing a sea of boring gray and matte black in the world of laptops? Sony is gearing up to literally add some color in those cheeks and a little spice in your life with their all new VAIO Type C line of "fun" computers for "young people." The suits downtown can be perfectly content rolling around in a ThinkPad, but the iPod generation wants their personality to come shining through, and that's why these fairly powerful notebooks come in your choice of six different colors: black, silver, and dark grey for the conservative types, as well as baby blue, green, and pink for the more exuberant amongst us, reports Trend.

As far as specs are concerned, the VAIO Type C can hold its own against many of its main competitors. Powering these computers will be your choice of Intel processors: if you want to save a few bucks, you can get the Celeron M430 CPU, but more likely than not, you'll probably want to step up a Core 2 Duo (T5500, T7200, or T7400). RAM ranges from 512MB to 2GB, whereas the visual side of things comes by way of an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7400 graphics card. You can also get a hard drive as large as 120GB.

No word on pricing or availability, but if you're looking for a sexy laptop (one that may even come with a free bag, I might add), then the Sony VAIO Type C just might be for you.
