Iran's ambassador confers with Albanian health minister

(IRNA) - Iran's ambassador to Tirana discussed bilateral cooperation with Albanian health minister.

According to Iranian Embassy in Tirana, Albanian Health Minister Maxim Sicolie admired Iranian progress in the field of health and medical treatment.

Sicolie told Iran's Ambassador to Tirana Ali-Beman Eqbali-Zarech that Iran has made eye-catching achievements in health services, especially production of vaccines and medicines, reports Trend.

The Albanian minister also appreciated participation of Iran's private sector in construction and equipping different medical clinics in Albania, especially for treatment of heart diseases.

The Iranian diplomat, for his part, explained performance of Iran's health system and progress Iranian experts have made in the field of cloning and manufacturing basic cells.

He expressed Iranian organizations and private sector's readiness for investment in the health treatment in Albania.

Referring to Iran's self-sufficiency in producing wide scale medicines, the ambassador termed the export of Iranian medicines to Albania as sign of mutual cooperation.
