( IRNA ) - Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani discussed Iran's nuclear case with the EU Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana Monday.
Larijani told IRNA that he held candid and transparent talks with Solana.
During the conversation, he said, Solana expressed hope that Iran's nuclear case would be resolved through negotiation and stressed that mechanisms should be found for negotiation.
The SNSC secretary said he stressed in his talks with Solana that unfortunately the conduct of Group 5+ 1 in endorsing the recent resolution against Iran indicated that they were not taking a right course. He said constructive talks do not comply with their behavior.
Despite this, Larijani said that his talks with Solana will continue.
