Iran, Pakistan sign agreement on transportation

( IRNA ) - Iran and Pakistan signed a letter of understanding on transportation after two days of talks between the countries' related experts

Iranian Minister of road and transportation Rahmati said the document signed today would upgrade activities in the field of road, sea and air tranportation between the neighboring states.

He also predicted that the bilateral cooperation in this field would lead to economic transactions worth one billion dollars.

Pakistani Minister of communications Muhammad Shamim Saddiqui said in the signing ceremony that Pakistan is willing to benefit from Iranian expertise in air, road and sea tranportation. He also said that his country is keen to cooperate with Iran in the field of manufacturing gas fuel systems for diesel vehicles and also locomotive industry.
