Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct.13
By Fatih Karimov - Trend:
Iran is developing a plan, according to which, natural gas will be replaced by other sources of energy in some parts of the country.
Nasser Ebrahimi, the National Iranian Gas Company's director for gas supplying affairs, said that the plan will be finalized in the next three months, Iran's Shana news agency reported on October 13.
According to the plan, natural gas will be replaced with CNG and then with LNG in regions where supplying natural gas via pipelines is difficult, he noted.
Kerosene, electricity, and renewable energy are other sources of energy which may substitute natural gas, he said.
