Iran exports over $5.17 billion of non-oil goods to China in 7 months

Iran exported 16.430 million metric tons of non-oil goods worth $5.176 billion to China in the first seven months of current Iranian calendar year (March 21 - October 22).

China was the main importer of Iranian goods in the mentioned period. Beijing's imports accounted for 26.68 percent of Iran's total exports.
Based on Iran's Customs administration's statistics, five countries imported 70 per cent of Iran's total non-oil exports in terms of value in the first seven months of the current year.

After China, Iraq (with $3.341 billion), the United Arab Emirates (with $2.166 billion), Afghanistan (with $1.335 billion), and India (with $1.218 million) were the other four biggest importers of Iranian goods.

The average price of each ton of exported goods amounted to $438 in the mentioned period is 11.73 percent more than same period of the previous year.

Iran's foreign trade amounted to $57.214 billion in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year.

Iran's non-oil exports accounted for $26.943 billion of the mentioned amount, while imports accounted for $30.271 billion.

According to Iran Customs Administration, the country's total non-oil exports to foreign countries (excluding gas condensates) stood at $31.332 billion in previous year (which ended on March 20), while the country's total imports amounted to $50.818 billion.

The figures mark annual trade balance of $19.486 billion dollars for Iran.

Iran's annual trade turnover is projected to reach $160 billion by the end of the fifth five-year development plan (March 2016)
