Venezuela seeks to imports medicine from Iran, Iran's Mehr news agency reported on November 8.
Venezuelan Ambassador to Tehran Amenhotep Zambrano said Iran has high potential for exporting medicine, and Venezuela needs medicine.
"So, we want Iran to send a representative to Venezuela as soon as possible in order to sign a contract," he said.
He added that Venezuela's industry minister will travel to Iran by the next two weeks to discuss ways with Iranian officials to facilitate the bilateral trade.
