Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh appointed former nuclear negotiator, Amirhossein Zamaninia, as his deputy for international affairs.
The post was previously held by Ali Majedi, who has been appointed as Iran's ambassador to Germany last summer, Iran's Fars News Agency reported on Dec. 20.
Zamaninia previously served as a member of Iran's nuclear negotiating team in the nuclear talks with the P5+1 group.
He is presently a legal advisor to the current negotiating team, as well.
