By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Topanol A, which is a substance with high usage in the oil industry, was produced in Iran's Esfahan Oil Refinery.
Esmaeel Nazempour, an official with Esfahan Oil Refining Company, said considering the great need domestic refineries have for Topanol A, Esfahan Oil Refinery embarked on producing the substance, Iran's IRNA news agency reported Dec. 29.
Topanol A is used industrially as an antioxidant, e.g. to prevent gumming in fuels, and as an ultraviolet stabilizer. It is used in jet fuels, regular gasoline, and aviation gasoline.
Esfahan refinery produces over 23 percent of the Islamic Republic's oil products.
