Iran’s chamber of commerce to hold exclusive expo in Afghanistan

Iran's chamber of commerce, industries, and mines will hold an exclusive exhibition in Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul.
Ali Rasoulian, an advisor to the chamber of commerce, industries, and mines, said that the exhibition will be held from February 17-20, 2015, Iran's Mehr news agency reported on Dec. 31.
Iran exported $1.394 billion of goods to Afghanistan in the first eight months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-November 21), he noted.
Hydrocarbons and solvents, iron rods, construction materials, and foodstuff accounted for a lion's share of the exports to Afghanistan, he added.
Iran currently holds a 25 percent share of the Afghan market, he said.
Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hassan Ghashghavi said in Nov. that trade turnover between Iran and Afghanistan reaches $4 billion.
