During the week ended on Jan. 30, some 894 million liters of liquid fuel (gas oil and fuel oil) were consumed in the country, showing 112 million liters decline compared to its preceding week, Iran's Shana news agency reported on Feb. 2.

The volume of natural gas delivered to power plants rose by 32 percent, leading to a decline in liquid fuel consumption in power plants, he noted.
