Production of five Iranian vehicles falls by 100%

During the Iranian month of Day (Dec. 22, 2014 to Jan. 20, 2015), five vehicles made by Iranian car manufacturing companies had no production at all, ISNA news agency reported on Feb. 13.

According to the report, Megan experienced a 100-percent drop in production to reach zero output compared to last year's output of 67 cars in the same period.

The manual-transmission Volex C30 ELITE also went from 62 cars last year to zero this year, in the mentioned period.

The 3-cylinder MVM 100, 435 vehicles of which were produced last year, were not produced this year at all, in the mentioned period.

The J3 sedan also slumped from 53 vehicles produced last year to zero this year, in the mentioned period.

In the past few months, the production of buses in Iran also fell drastically.

Recent statistics by the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade said that in the month of Day, numerous Iranian bus manufacturing units underwent a 100-percent reduction.
