Iran’s electronics company finds markets abroad

The Iranian company Iran Electronics Industry (called Sairan in Persian) exports many of its products abroad and there are many products now used in other countries which have been made by the company, the company's CEO Brigadier General Hossein Baqeri said.

He added the company plans to become the number one company of its kind in the Middle East by 2025, Fars news agency reported September 6.

The IEI is an affiliate of Iran's Defense Industries Organization, but its range of products include the areas of computers, communication devices from telephones to more infrastructural equipment, electronics, radars, IT, optics, laser, semi-conductive parts, aerospace technology, satellite technology, etc.

"We have managed to satisfy the Defense Industries Organization and also the Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a visit he paid to the company some years ago expressed satisfaction with IEI activities," Baqeri stated.

He also pointed out that Isiran Institute is an affiliate of the IEI and is active in areas related to cyberspace and social networks.
