By Fatih Karimov - Trend: Iranian airliners consumed 814 million liters of Aviation Turbine Kerosene (ATK) in the first half of the current Iranian fiscal year, which began on March 21.
Ali Harandi, head of the fueling office of the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran, said that the volume of fueling rose by 29 million liters compared to the same period in the past year, Shana news agency reported Sept. 30.
Such volume of fuel was sold to 106,108 airliners, he added.
The value of fuel sold to airliners also rose by 78.3 percent year-on-year, he noted.
Currently, over 100 domestic and foreign airlines receive fuel from 53 fueling stations at 50 airports across the country.
