Trade Promotion Organization and Export Development Bank of Iran as well as the country's Management and Planning Organization have agreed to join their efforts to support local exporters.

To support the export of homemade products, the organizations have agreed to offer exporters six percent of discount on their banking loans received from Export Development Bank of Iran, Iranian Deputy Industry, Mine and Trade Minister Valiollah Afkhami Rad told Mehr news agency Dec. 2.

According to the deputy industry minister Export Development Bank of Iran will charge the exporters who received loan from the bank with 14 percent.

Afkhami Rad said that Trade Promotion Organization has been tasked with prioritizing products and goods to receive the loan.

He added that exporters will be eligible to receive up to three billion rials (about $ 99764 US dollar according to the official rate of Iran's Central Bank) of loan while top exporters can apply for five billion rials.

According to Iranian Customs Administration Tehran's non-oil exports (including condensates) surpassed $29.63 billion during the first eight months of the current fiscal year (March 21-Nov. 22), indicating a fall by 10.48 percent compared to the same period of the preceding year.
