Iranian Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh and Belarusian Minister of Industries Vitaly Vovk are expected to sign a roadmap for expanding bilateral ties between Tehran and Minsk.
Nematzadeh, heading a 50-member delegation, arrived in the Belarusian capital to attend the two-day meeting of the joint commission in Minsk, IRNA news agency reported.
Iran-Belarus joint commission meeting which started on May 4 is discussing the expansion of bilateral cooperation in the areas of industry, economy and joint projects.
Tehran and Minsk have announced interest in cooperation in a range of fields including agricultural, fishery and medical equipment. Iran-Belarus trade turnover stood at about $75 million in the last Iranian year (ended March 20).
