In its latest report, the Statistical Centre of Iran has announced the level of growth in the exports and imports of goods and services in the country's major economic sectors over winter.

The agriculture, forestry and hunting sector
The value of Iran's exports of the agriculture, forestry and hunting sector dropped by 51.61 percent in winter compared to the same season in the last year. This is while the figure has increased by 6.52 percent compared to the preceding season (fall).
In the meantime, the value of the country's imports of the same products has decreased by 38.83 percent. Compared to the preceding season (fall) the imports figure has increased by 17.05 percent.
Fishery
The value of Iran's exports of the fishing, fishery sector increased by 80.73 percent in winter compared to the same season in the last year. This is while the figure has increased by 81.27 percent compared to the preceding season (fall).
Meanwhile, the value of the country's imports of the same products has decreased by 37.35 percent. Compared to the preceding season (fall) the imports figure has increased by 62.71 percent.
Mining
The statistics of mining sector does not include crude oil and natural gas. The value of Iran's exports of the mining sector dropped by 30.89 percent in winter compared to the same season in the last year. This is while the figure has increased by 22.83 percent compared to the preceding season (fall).
The value of the country's imports of the same products and services has decreased by 72.9 percent. Compared to the preceding season (fall) the imports figure has increased by 29.6 percent.
Industry
The value of Iran's exports of goods and services in the industrial sector increased by 14.5 percent in winter compared to the same season in the last year. This is while the figure has increased by 24.63 percent compared to the preceding season (fall).
The value of the country's imports of the same products has decreased by 15.77 percent. Compared to the preceding season (fall) the imports figure has increased by 15.52 percent.
