Dutch firm eyes long-term investment in Iran

Netherlands' Royal IHC shipbuilding company seeks to make new investments in Iran, Amin Ezzeddine, MENA area manager of the company said.

The cooperation between the holding and Iran enjoys a 30-year fruitful history, Ezzeddine said, oil ministry's SHANA news agency reported May 7.

Speaking on the sidelines of the 21st Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, Ezzeddine said that his firm intends to boost amount of investment in the country.

He added that the shipbuilding company maintained its business ties with Iranian partners even under the sanctions period.

The 21st International Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition of Iran - Iran Oil Show 2016 - opened in Tehran on May 5.

Almost 1,900 companies - 900 from Iran and 880 from 38 countries - are showcasing their latest achievements in the Show which will continue until 8 May.
